Job Description

  • The candidate will provide overall leadership for MDM, BL, and GC operations, including accountability for local and offshore teams, service delivery, and operational outcomes.
  • The candidate will build, coach, and develop team members and partners by setting clear expectations, reinforcing ownership, and promoting a strong performance culture.
  • The candidate will utilize data, KPIs, and operational information to prioritize activities, make informed decisions, identify and mitigate risks, and support ongoing improvements and organizational change.
  • The candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives and work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to drive operational excellence and strategic outcomes.
  • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing governance activities and ensuring compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, internal policies, and audit requirements.
  • The candidate will provide oversight of ServiceNow intake and execution while ensuring SLA adherence, effective prioritization, and a consistent customer-focused experience.
  • The candidate will establish and maintain strong process discipline through documentation standards, SOPs, and controls to support scalability and audit readiness.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience.
  • The candidate must have 6 to 8 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Accounts Payable, or related finance operations, with exposure to global processes preferred.
  • The candidate must demonstrate experience leading teams or workstreams, including coaching, performance management, and accountability for results across local and/or offshore teams.
  • The candidate must possess a strong understanding of vendor data governance, internal controls, and operational risk, while knowledge of tax reporting processes such as 1099 and T4A reporting and related-party reporting will be considered an asset.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to collaborate across functions and with business stakeholders at all levels to resolve complex issues and drive alignment.
  • The candidate must have experience overseeing operations within ERP and workflow environments, including platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhanced efficiency, scalability, or control effectiveness.
  • The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data and KPIs into decisions, priorities, and actions.
  • The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear direction, influence outcomes, and represent the function with confidence.
  • The candidate must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while balancing operational demands with long-term improvement goals.
  • The candidate must possess advanced proficiency in various Microsoft Office applications.
  • The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.

Work conditions
