Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with personal and small business clients.
- Understand client goals and provide suitable financial advice.
- Address client’s concerns and provide solutions.
- Recommend banking, credit and investment products that fit client needs.
- Promote digital banking services and encourage self service options.
- Connect with clients through both virtual and in person meetings.
- Grow new client relationships and retain existing clients.
- Work with financial planning, mortgage, retirement planning and business banking teams to support clients.
Requirements
- Valid Mutual Funds accreditation through the Investment Funds in Canada course or the Canadian Securities Course is required.
- In Quebec, completed Certificate of Achievement in Personal Finance through the Canadian Securities Institute is required.
- 1 to 2 years of work background in the financial services industry handling credit and investments is required.
- You can work with building trust and also with keeping long term client relationships.
- Skilled in using smartphones, tablets and laptops and other digital devices.
- Bilingual in English and French is required to help clients in both languages as well.
- Active involvement in building a strong local professional network is preferred.
