Job description
- Deliver instructor led training on security topics such as safety, de-escalation and violence prevention
- Act as a subject matter expert in developing security training programs
- Conduct behavioural threat assessments and prepare detailed reports
- Perform risk assessments for events and provide mitigation strategies
- Develop and document risk management protocols and standards
- Provide advice on security matters to employees and leadership
- Support prevention strategies related to workplace safety and security risks
Job requirements
- 2 year certificate or diploma in a security-related field with at least 8 years in a security function such as law enforcement or investigations OR
- Degree with at least 4 years in a related security role
- Background in threat assessments and workplace violence prevention
- Background delivering training sessions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
