Job Description

  • The position of Financial Planning analyst would involve developing comprehensive strategies for tax, retirement, and estate planning for the clients using Royal Bank of Canada’s custom-built financial planning tools.
  • Utilize exclusive tools to offer detailed retirement, taxation, and estate planning tactics.
  • Promote a teamwork and diversity driven environment throughout the Family Office Service group.
  • Create and improve “Compass” financial plans for customers on a continuous basis.
  • Involves cooperating with local Financial Planning Specialists to provide planning solutions that are well integrated.
  • Work at Royal Bank of Canada Centre, Toronto, full-time and onsite, in the Wealth/Family Office platform.
  • Take part in flawless client service through support functions that are both centralized and regional.

Responsibilities

  • By evaluating the objectives, the current situation, and the personalized strategies of the clients, prepare comprehensive personal financial plans.
  • Remain current with the financial planning standards, industry practices, and regulatory expectations.
  • Recognize and pursue the opportunities for complementary RBC products and solutions, and follow up on them.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with a wide knowledge of all RBC business units.
  • Share your thoughts and help in the development projects that are aimed at improving the services.
  • Impart coaching and training to other professionals in the Wealth Management area.

Requirements

  • CFP or PFP certification.
  • Over 5 years of experience in financial planning.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Canadian tax system.
  • Familiarity with Conquest financial planning software.
