Job Description
- This is a centralized role supporting the Family Office Service at Royal Bank of Canada by providing personal Financial Planning Services to its clients.
- Collaboration with regional financial planning specialists to develop integrated financial plans.
- Provide clients with solutions that integrate Wealth Management Services through Financial Planning Insights.

Responsibilities
- With the help of internal forge, develop and maintain detailed client-specific financial plans.
- Evaluate client objectives, financial situations, and long-range financial planning requirements.
- Assist in identifying and coordinating additional business opportunities related to the client’s services.
- Establish and maintain ongoing working relations with all other areas of Royal Bank of Canada’s various Business Units.
- Support the development of improved services and add value to clients
Provide coaching and assistance through knowledge sharing within Wealth Management Services.
Requirements
- The IQPF provides a degree for Financial Planners.
- At least five years worth of experience in financial planning; experience interacting directly with clients will be beneficial.
- Understanding of Canada’s tax laws.
- Experience using Conquest and other financial planning programs.
- Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the capacity to learn about new technology.
- Fluent in both English and French in order to work effectively with all areas of Canada.
