The shift timings for this position include the Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning, 08:00 to 17:00.

Job Description

The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
The candidate must clean windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
The candidate will be responsible for making minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as contacting tradespersons for significant repairs.
The candidate must contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
The candidate will be responsible for performing minor repairs to appliances.
The candidate must perform security and safety checks.
The candidate will be responsible for showing offices and apartments to prospective tenants.
The candidate must move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
The candidate must perform other routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair.
The candidate must clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision.
The candidate must clear snow and ice from walkways and parking lots.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the French language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
The candidate should be dependable.
The candidate should be organized and flexible.
The candidate must be capable of acting independently and taking the initiative.
The candidate should have good judgmental skills.
The candidate should be reliable.

Work setting

The candidate should be able to work in an apartment/condominium or an office building with two or more individually owned units.
The candidate should work in the industrial area with facilities such as factories, plants, processing operations, and similar operations.

Experience and specialization

Equipment

The candidate must have experience in operating industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, carpet cleaning machines, power tools, power lawn mowers, upholstery cleaning equipment, and snowblowers.
