Job Description

  • The candidate will support the supervisor with daily administrative tasks within the assigned department.
  • The candidate will support the supervisor with daily email communication to business partners.
  • The candidate will support efforts to ensure system accuracy within the department, including IBM, WMS, and LMS platforms.
  • The candidate will provide regular and ad hoc reports to Floor Leads and the Supervisor for the assigned department.
  • The candidate will be assigned to a primary department but may be required to support all areas of the distribution center, including value-added services, receiving, returns, damages, picking, packing, transfers, shipping, and inventory movement as business needs dictate.
  • The candidate will participate in training sessions, team-building activities, meetings, and personal development initiatives.
  • The candidate will maintain a safe work environment by adhering to the organization’s safety program and lean principles.
  • The candidate must carry out assigned responsibilities while adhering to DC Guidelines and company policies.
  • The candidate will maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment at all times.
  • The candidate will perform other duties and projects as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must possess knowledge of Manhattan and WMS systems.
  • The candidate must communicate professionally with business stakeholders through both written and verbal communication.
  • The candidate must effectively listen to and provide direction to the hourly workforce.
  • The candidate must possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to analyze reports and reporting data.
  • The candidate must be capable of adapting to third-party technologies, including RF scanners, voice-picking systems, and new technologies.
  • The candidate must possess excellent counting skills and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • The candidate must meet established attendance requirements.
  • The candidate must maintain a safe work environment at all times.
  • The candidate must be flexible and adaptable with scheduling requirements, including nights, holidays, weekends, occasional after-hours work, and overtime.
  • The candidate must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety policies, company policies, training materials, and work instructions. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
