Job Description
- The advisor will work with Royal bank of Canada Clients on personalized investment and retirement planning both for new and current clients.
- You will be working with both the internal partners of Royal Bank of Canada who are referring clients and with the full team of Royal Bank of Canada who are supporting you.
- One of the key responsibilities of this role is to help clients grow and manage their investment assets while assisting them in identifying both Royal Bank of Canada and 3rd party investment solutions that meet their individual goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in onboarding new clients and merging funds from current and prospective Royal Bank of Canada clients.
- Reference clients to the appropriate Royal Bank of Canada Specialists based on their specific needs.
- Leverage personal relationships to build external referral networks.
Requirements
- A valid and recognized designation for Financial Planning is required (PFP®, CFP® or QAFP®)
- Licensing to sell mutual funds through IFIC or CSC.
- Demonstrable history of having worked in Financial Planning with a minimum of 2 years of professional support.
- Excellent experience with networking and onboarding of new clients.
- Ability to develop robust partnerships and alliances.
- Comfortably utilize digital platforms and mobile apps. Must be bi-lingual (French and English) and supported across the greater Thunder Bay Region.
