Job Description
- A digital marketing role is responsible for supporting global email marketing for Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets and contributing to broader digital and social initiatives.
- Involves assisting with marketing execution across platforms such as Marketo and contributing to content and effectiveness measurement.
- Plays a part in a collaborative, inclusive environment within Royal Bank of Canada’s Capital Markets platform.
- Introducing marketing functions such as A/B testing, SEO/SEM, and content support.
- Full-time salaried position at 37.5 hour/week based in Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Email automation and execution.
- Be informed constantly about the best practices of the market, current trends, and AI impacts.
- Conduct international email promotions that are aligned with the business and marketing goals.
- In charge of the list hygiene, deliverability, and audience segmentation.
- Carry out campaign performance and user journey analysis and thus drive ongoing optimization.
- Work with the web team so as to make sure that e-mail campaigns are correlated with site content and UX.
- Stay in contact with social, paid media, and other channels.
- Develop personalized, targeted email content that is able to boost engagement.
- Implement a data-driven approach in order to constantly improve e-mail and digital marketing efforts.
Requirements
- Over 5 years, the candidate has gained experience not only in email and digital marketing but also in the operation of Marketo at an expert level.
- Possesses the full range of skills listed in the itemization of practices such as segmentation, ABM, list management, and A/B testing.
- A Marketing or Communications major is preferred.
- Being creative, a good command of English.
- Skilled at organizing.
- Knowledge of HTML, GA4, and deliverability tools.
- The candidate is able to maintain relationships with customers, analyze the situation well and provide service focusing on the client.
- The candidate must have mastered Microsoft Office and have advanced Excel skills.
