Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for providing front-line customer service and completing janitorial duties while following established facility schedules.
- The candidate will be responsible for using a City vehicle to service outdoor washrooms according to an established work schedule.
- The candidate will be responsible for working a scheduled shift from Wednesday to Sunday, 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM, while following facility requirements.
- The candidate will be responsible for delivering superior janitorial and related services while meeting established service expectations.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must have completed some high school education, preferably completed janitorial courses, and possess some related work experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered.
- The candidate must have a minimum of two years of related experience, with a Building Service Worker certificate considered an asset.
- The candidate must possess a valid driver’s licence for the Province of BC and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- The candidate will interact with the public in a respectful and helpful manner while addressing service needs.
