Coop Engineer
Dana has released a notification in which they’re inviting candidates for the post of Coop Engineer. They troubleshoot assembly equipment, and component related faults and issues to reduce line downtime. They also identify and fulfill engineering improvement projects associated with recurrent equipment downtime, station cycle time improvements, assembly first time through issues, and both proactive and reactive quality and safety concerns. They work in conjunction with maintenance and engineering to facilitate equipment/machine repairs.

Job description
- Candidates will work as manufacturing engineers to improve process design and maximize efficiency.
- They will assist with manufacturing process improvements.
- They will participate in quality review and corrective action implementation.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have enrollment & active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering specific majors: Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- They must have proven work experience, strong analytical ability, & excellent mechanical aptitude.
- They must be self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills.
- Candidates must attain experience with Manufacturing or Assembly a plus.
Work setting
- Candidates must have good oral & written communication skills.
- They must be able to interface in a team environment.
- They must be willing to do multiple assignments & rotate through other engineering departments.
