Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to consult with clients to determine the type, style, and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered.
  • The candidate will be required to conceptualise and design buildings, as well as develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs, and construction schedules.
  • The candidate must prepare sketches and models.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare or supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications, and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespeople.
  • The candidate will be expected to prepare bidding documents, negotiate contracts, and award construction contracts.
  • The candidate will be expected to conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of construction projects.
  • The candidate will be required to modify designs and plans to meet the needs of the client.
  • The candidate will be responsible for determining and adhering to budgets and timelines.
  • The candidate will be expected to monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours.
  • The candidate will be required to work in wet or damp, dusty and hot or cold environments.
  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

  • The candidate must provide copy of portfolios or examples of completed work.
