Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for determining the method of shipping.
- The candidate will be responsible for scheduling the distribution of goods.
- The candidate will be responsible for scheduling transportation conveyances.
- The candidate will be responsible for assembling containers and crates.
- The candidate must inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documentation.
- The candidate will be responsible for routing goods to the appropriate storage areas.
- The candidate will be responsible for packaging goods for shipment.
- The candidate must unpack the received goods.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of goods.
- The candidate must supervise material handlers and helpers.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be dependable.
- The candidate should be organized and flexible.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in an industrial facility or any establishment engaged in manufacturing or processing, including, but not limited to, factories, foundries, mills, processing plants, refineries, mines and slaughterhouses.
- The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
