Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with store leadership to bring visual merchandising (VM) presentation and guest experience to life on the floor.
  • The candidate will be responsible for optimizing guest experience through consistent application of brand standards across product storytelling, product placement, and intuitive store navigation.
  • The candidate will be responsible for executing visually appealing and high-impact product presentations in line with company standards to enhance guest experience and drive store sell-through.
  • The candidate will be responsible for executing VM flips, including window activations, mannequin styling, signage and label updates, and seasonal or weekly merchandise changes, as well as company-driven product initiatives and campaigns as directed.
  • The candidate will be responsible for engaging with guests on the floor to assess their needs, provide technical product education, and integrate omnichannel programs into a seamless guest experience.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing direct feedback and in-the-moment training on brand standards, product placement, and visual display techniques to support ongoing team development.
  • The candidate will be responsible for contributing to a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships with team members.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • The candidate must have the ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation.
  • The candidate must have at least 1 year of retail or sales experience.
  • The candidate may possess education or experience in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, graphic design, interior design, space planning, or a related discipline.
  • The candidate with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent or above is considered an asset.
  • The candidate should have training or a degree in design or a related field.
  • The candidate may have experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or inventory management, along with project or operational management experience, which is an asset.
  • The candidate may have food safety and/or liquor service certification for Experiential food and beverage service stores, which is considered an asset.
  • The candidate should actively create and maintain an inclusive workplace that respects and embraces diversity.
  • The candidate must behave in an honest, fair, and ethical manner at all times.
  • The candidate should understand and demonstrate interest in color theory, visual display composition, and styling and placement techniques, with the ability to apply this knowledge.

  • The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail by being careful and thorough in completing work tasks.

  • The candidate must be adaptable and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment while recovering quickly from setbacks.
  • The candidate must communicate information clearly and effectively while also understanding information shared during interactions with others.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

  • The candidate must be available for varying shifts based on store needs.
  • The candidate will be required to work shifts that include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • In addition, during peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, the schedule may include early mornings, late nights, or overnight shifts for some employees.
  • The candidate will be required to move throughout the store, including front-of-house areas with bright lights and loud music.
  • The candidate will be required to work as part of a team, independently, and at times using computers or other technical devices.
  • The candidate must be able to handle physical tasks including moving boxes, fixtures, and mannequins up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg), along with bending, reaching, stretching, and using ladders when needed.
