Job Description
- The candidate must partner with business and technology leaders to understand needs and shape solution architecture roadmaps.
- The candidate will be required to design complex multi-system solutions aligned with enterprise and domain architectural standards.
- The candidate will be required to lead architectural decisions for major initiatives, modernization efforts, and platform evolution.
- The candidate must guide delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented as intended by the architecture.
- The candidate must evaluate solution options and recommend fit-for-purpose designs based on trade-offs and constraints.
- The candidate must define, apply, and evolve solution architecture standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
- The candidate must mentor architects and engineers on complex solution design challenges.
Job Requirements
- The candidate will be required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- A Master’s degree is considered an asset for this position.
- The candidate must have 9–12 years of experience in solution architecture, software development, systems engineering, technical consulting, or equivalent experience.
- The candidate must have proven experience designing complex, cross-system architectural solutions with extensive integrations and multi-year architectural roadmaps.
- The candidate must have a track record of researching emerging technologies and evaluating solution portfolio options with significant cost and capability impact.
- The candidate must have experience leading technology selection for solution portfolios.
- The candidate must have a deep understanding of interconnected business processes and technology capabilities across solution portfolios.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to connect architectural decisions to business transformation outcomes.
- The candidate must have experience managing delivery risks across solution portfolios and influencing organizational delivery practices.
- The candidate must have familiarity with designing architectures that account for complexity and portfolio sequencing.
- The candidate must have proven ability to create strategic architectural narratives for complex solutions and communicate architectural concepts to senior stakeholders, including VPs.
- The candidate must have strong understanding of AI/ML security concepts, including secure model lifecycle management, AI governance, model risk, and emerging threats specific to AI systems.
- The candidate must have proven experience designing security controls aligned to global regulatory and privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX, PCI, NIST) within data and analytics platforms.
- The candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
