Job Description
- The candidate will develop sophisticated Kubernetes platforms, container orchestration strategies, and cloud infrastructure abstractions to support engineering teams operating at scale.
- The candidate will design and build advanced CI/CD and delivery systems that support complex workflows, artifact management, and deployment patterns across multiple environments.
- The candidate will be required to develop self-service platform capabilities, including APIs, CLIs, portals, and templates, to enhance developer productivity and support safe infrastructure provisioning.
- The candidate will be required to design, build, and deploy comprehensive observability platforms that include logging architecture, metrics frameworks, distributed tracing systems, and intelligent alerting platforms.
- The candidate will be responsible for leading incident response for critical platform issues while coordinating cross-team efforts, conducting technical investigations, and improving platform reliability.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or have equivalent experience.
- A master’s degree will be considered an asset for this position.
- The candidate must have 6–10 years of experience developing enterprise platform systems and leading infrastructure initiatives across engineering teams, or equivalent experience.
- The candidate must have proven experience building and maintaining platform infrastructure while applying established automation standards.
- The candidate must have a track record of driving platform automation decisions across multiple teams.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to architect sophisticated Kubernetes platforms and cloud infrastructure supporting diverse workload requirements.
- The candidate must have experience designing compute, storage, and networking abstractions while balancing performance, cost, and developer experience.
- The candidate should demonstrate experience building intuitive self-service capabilities such as APIs, CLIs, and portals to enhance developer productivity.
- The candidate must have a proven ability to design developer tools and workflows that enable teams to operate independently.
- The candidate must have expertise in managing DevOps platforms and tooling, including GitLab, Terraform Enterprise, Snyk, Xray, and Datadog.
- The candidate must have experience building developer experience automation, including internal developer portals, golden path templates, and self-service tooling.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to measure and improve developer productivity through platform instrumentation and feedback loops across diverse engineering teams.
- The candidate must demonstrate experience engineering software supply chain security capabilities, including artifact provenance, dependency lifecycle management, container image governance, and vulnerability remediation workflows.
