Job Description

  • As a Branch Manager, the focus is primarily on developing your team through coaching, thus creating a growth driven environment.
  • This job will have full-time, company paid hours of 37.5 hours, every week.
  • Branch Manager shall take the lead in mainly driving branch growth, customer retention improvement, and the financial aspect of the branch results.
  • The Branch Manager has to review risk management, corporate governance, and compliance with corporate policies as well.
  • The culture of inclusiveness creates a positive office atmosphere and through different places in Ontario a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review the overall performance, growth and daily operation of the Branch.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development for a great-performing team that concentrates on customer relationship building.
  • Ensure support of all activities associated with the Account Acquiring, Retaining and Growing the Personal and Business Banking Portfolios.
  • Ensure adequate Risk Management and Compliance with all Bank Policies and Procedures.
  • Establish and Encourage a Positive Inclusive, Results-Driven Atmosphere in a Branch Environment.
  • Provide an extraordinary Customer Experience, every time, at every Scotiabank Branch within the prescribed Scotiabank standards.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable track record of developing and managing retail banking teams.
  • Demonstrate a strong experience in business banking and small business banking.
  • Have a proven ability to grow and drive sales successfully.
  • Have the ability to lead in an inclusive/performance-driven environment.
  • License to sell mutual funds
  • CIPF Diploma(or equivalent)
  • Should have to maintain a strong relationship with everyone, especially with clients.
  • Should have the best communication skills.
