Job Description
- The candidate will install sprinkler heads and mount prepared pipe in supports.
- The candidate must select, measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe.
- The candidate will be responsible for connecting piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
- The candidate will use hand and power tools to install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support the piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment.
- The candidate will install valves, alarms, and associated equipment.
- The candidate must test the system for leaks with air or liquid pressure equipment.
- The candidate will be required to cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand, power tools, or machines.
- The candidate will install supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
- The candidate will test the system for leaks with testing equipment.
- The candidate must weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of the piping system.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a Secondary (high) graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
- The candidate should be accurate.
