MANUFACTURE EXEMPLAIRE, located at Montréal, QC. The company is actively seeking applicants for the role of Setter – jewellery manufacturing. The applicant should be a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be required to commence work at the earliest opportunity. It will be Permanent employment or a full-time job. The candidate must work on the day shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must examine, cut, shape, and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic gems.
• The candidate must set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a related industry.

Work setting

• The candidate’s relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee’s relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company’s offices or other work locations as required.

Experience and specialization

Area of work experience

• The candidate must have experience in gem and stone setting.

• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
