Service Technician, 104th

Service Technician, 104th is a full-time role with Tesla. It supports the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of Tesla vehicles, day to day, like really hands on. You’ll be working around advanced automotive technology, but also still helping move forward Tesla’s mission to speed up the world’s shift toward sustainable energy.

This position is based in Surrey, British Columbia. Service Technicians work alongside experienced technicians and engineers , get training and learning on the job, and help deliver strong service and solid products to customers.

Job Description

  • Service Technician, 104th is a full-time position with Tesla.
  • Support the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of Tesla vehicles.
  • Join training programs and learn as you go, in the shop.
  • Deliver high quality work, and keep customer service at the top.
  • Help Tesla accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform both entry-level and more advanced diagnostic and repair work on Tesla products.
  • Work with other team members to improve repair efficiency and keep product delivery exceptional.
  • Clean and detail vehicles when needed, as part of good presentation.
  • Use a company-supplied laptop for diagnostics and online training.
  • Record repairs accurately, and inspect and maintain shop equipment regularly.
  • Ask for replacement of shop equipment when it’s truly required.

Requirements

  • Automotive Service Technician’s License, or the desire to become a Technician
  • Apprentice through provincial schooling.
  • Shown ability to manage several priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines.
    Proof of a “safety first” mindset.
  • Must keep a valid Class 5, G or G2 driver’s license for Canada.
