Job Description
- Account Architect is a normal, full-time role with Bell Business Markets, and yeah it’s pretty much day to day work.
- You will support enterprise customers using pre-sales business development activities, kinda like early-stage guidance.
- Help design future technology architectures, and the business solutions that go along with it.
- Align customer IT strategies with Bell’s technology portfolio, even when the priorities feel a bit fuzzy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, so they can move with confidence.
- Hybrid work arrangement required, with a minimum of three days per week in a Bell office.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer teams while developing solutions using IP Networks, Telecommunications, Security, Datacenter and Cloud Computing.
- Support customers in developing complex technology solutions, from the first conversations to the final direction.
- Evaluate business needs and spot challenges before they become major issues.
- Conduct feasibility analysis ,and also help with strategic technology planning.
- Design and integrate technology solutions, including the pieces that don’t seem obvious at first.
- Initiate Bell product verifications, for example when validating fit and readiness.
- Develop equipment lists (BoM) and provide consultation reports, in a way that others can actually use.
- Document technical solution proposals, scope of work, Visio diagrams and equipment lists , without missing key details.
- Evaluate customer IT environments, then recommend technology solutions that match the reality.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience developing LAN, WAN, wireless, security, cloud, or Internet of Things (IoT) solutions… like real field work.
- Solid knowledge of cloud hosting solutions with the leading providers.
- Experience providing consulting services, and doing it day to day.
- Strong know-how of IT architecture implementation and integration, end to end.
- Can present solutions, also defend technical recommendations when needed.
