Job Description

  • The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
  • The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
  • The candidate must advise on menu selections.
  • The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • The candidate must serve food and beverages.
  • The candidate must take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
  • The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
