Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for leading the successful creation, execution, and maintenance of a line plan for assigned product categories that contribute to the financial success of the company.
- The candidate will be responsible for delivering profitable assortments that drive IMU and cost goals needed to meet and exceed targets.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing Global pricing product architecture.
- The candidate must oversee the pre-season planning process by translating roadmap stories into seasonal line plans while integrating regional territory category needs through collaboration with Regional teams.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring briefs are met throughout the product creation process, from line plan through to regional handover.
- The candidate will be responsible for briefing colour flow for the global assortment to ensure clear, consistent, and profitable storytelling.
- The candidate will be responsible for proactively gathering, analyzing, and driving insight from the competitive landscape, global and regional teams, and cross-functional partners across all channels for pre-season planning and hindsights.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing and creating key franchises and overseeing the product lifecycle for all styles in assigned product categories, including introduction, build, and retirement.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and functional excellence to merchandising and design partners to ensure key Merchandising Go-To-Market deadlines are met.
- The candidate will be responsible for communicating category assortment to all stakeholders to drive consistent Merchandising messages globally.
- The candidate will be responsible for bringing global storytelling to life in partnership with Brand and Marketing teams.
- The candidate will be responsible for building the architecture of the assortment in collaboration with the Design and Product Development team.
- The candidate will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and signing off on sketches and protos against the line plan brief, ensuring all global guest needs are met and maintaining accountability for adoption ratio.
- The candidate must collaborate with Demand Planning and Sourcing teams to deliver units and style volume data for global forecasting and vendor allocation.
- The candidate will be responsible for being the voice of the guest and providing considered and clear feedback during fittings.
- The candidate will be responsible for creating and presenting global product visual flow and communicating seasonal assortment strategies quarterly to all regional partners.
- The candidate will be responsible for briefing content for packaging, product naming, and product features and benefits.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accountability for the data integrity of the product.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing the global assortment handover to Regional Teams.
- The candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior team members.
- The candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding junior team members to develop skills and build functional expertise across the team.
- The candidate will be required to work in close partnership with the Manager and assume managerial duties in the Manager’s absence.
