Job Description
- The Senior Ford Specialist, Pension & Benefits position provides an opportunity to assist Ford of Canada in delivering employee pension and benefit programs and to work within the Oakville Head Office where the main focus is giving guidance.
- Support the implementation of these programs for a large and complex business; and then provide support on an ongoing basis as needed to ensure that our programs are working effectively.
- Provide frontline support to Ford, Canada employees for questions about pension, benefits, claims and program details.
- Assist with onboarding, enrollments and updates, life event changes, and resolving escalated issues.
- Work with Ford Human Resources to support their Wellbeing initiatives.
- Manage confidential employee data and ensure the accuracy of all employee documentation. Respond to employee inquiries with respect to pension & benefit programs, explain pension & benefit programs and provide required documentation.
- Support new hire orientations and support employees during the enrollment process.
- Coordinate issues and escalate to Ford HR at Ford Canadian Headquarters.
Responsibilities
- To assist Ford Canada employees, you will be responsible for providing support and assisting with the administration of pension and benefit programs.
- To support Ford Canada employees, provide support for questions about their pension, benefit, claim, and program details.
- Assist employees during onboarding, enrollment, updating of life events, and resolving of escalated issues for all employees of Ford, Canada.
- Support Ford Human Resources in the Wellbeing Initiatives.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Successful candidates must have successfully completed a post-secondary school program in HR/Benefit/Pension or equivalent work experience.
- Candidates should have experience in dealing with pension/benefit inquiries, claims submission, or pension administration.
- Candidates will have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Must have experience in providing administrative support for employees with Employer Benefits, e.g., process pensions, and benefit claims.
- Must have time management skills.
- Must have knowledge in customer service.
- It is important to have strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
