Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for creating and fostering a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences to ensure a supportive, productive, and fun experience for all team members.

  • The candidate will be responsible for managing the store’s hiring strategy to build a strong and diverse team that includes team members with various experiences, backgrounds, and skillsets to drive store operations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supporting the ongoing learning and development of all team members consistently and equitably by providing direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, continuous development check-ins, and leading performance management activities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for addressing all employee concerns and issues, including knowing when to partner with internal support to take appropriate action.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading an exceptional guest (customer) experience on the floor by assessing the level of guest connection and technical product education and supporting team members to address gaps through feedback and coaching.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing and directing in-store team members to ensure an optimal guest experience that values guests’ time and supports store operations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for addressing emergent issues, including guest escalations and urgent requests.
  • The candidate will be responsible for establishing and increasing brand awareness in the community by cultivating and maintaining inclusive relationships with local ambassadors, sweat leaders, community influencers, and other external partners.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing local, regional, and area driven Community projects and initiatives, including activities such as local run club and International Day of Yoga.
  • The candidate will be responsible for driving overall store visual merchandising and product strategy, including product escalations, while executing company-driven product actions, projects, and initiatives.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing sell-through by monitoring product levels, ensuring inventory count accuracy, and organizing product deliveries in line with visual merchandising strategy.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing high-level quarterly and seasonal store planning with respect to strategy, budget, and labor, including recruiting and training and development.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing the whole store profit and loss (P&L) in accordance with established goals, including sales and budget targets.
  • The candidate will be responsible for moving dynamically and leading from the floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests through coaching and developing team members.
  • The candidate must understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • The candidate must perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accountability for the controllable budget, labor hours, and annual sales plan target.
  • The candidate will be responsible for fulfilling a leadership role directly responsible for managing all other store leadership roles.
  • The candidate will be ultimately responsible for hiring and terminating all store employees.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • The candidate must have the ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation methods.
  • The candidate will be required to work on a variable schedule that may include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, or overnights, as well as weekends and holidays.
  • The candidate must have 1 year of people management experience, including recruiting, hiring, and holding employees accountable to performance expectations.
  • The candidate must have 1 year of experience managing business operations and administration, including retail scheduling, management of labor hours, and managing projects or processes.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is considered an asset for this role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education may be considered a preferred asset.
  • The candidate with at least 2 years of retail or sales-specific management experience will be considered an asset.
