Job Description

  • The candidate will lead complex security engineering initiatives, designing and implementing security controls, platforms, and solutions that protect critical systems at scale.
  • The candidate will build and operate enterprise security capabilities such as centralized authentication, security enforcement mechanisms, and security automation, while applying secure coding practices along with rigorous testing and validation.
  • The candidate will lead comprehensive threat modeling and security assessments for complex systems, evaluating attacker behaviour across integrations and influencing secure design decisions early in the development lifecycle.
  • The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end response to complex security incidents, driving deep root cause analysis and implementing coordinated long-term improvements to detection, prevention, and security monitoring capabilities.
  • The candidate must develop advanced security code, tools, and libraries, such as security automation platforms, scanners and detectors, security testing systems, and security SDKs.
  • The candidate must establish security code standards, including secure coding practices, code review requirements, and implementation quality.
  • The candidate must work closely with engineering teams to embed security into system design and delivery while driving enhancements in security quality and reliability.
  • The candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers through hands-on technical leadership and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with security certification strongly preferred.
  • The candidate must have 6–10 years of experience leading security engineering initiatives, establishing security standards and practices, and building security systems at scale, or equivalent.
  • The candidate must have proven experience implementing enterprise security controls and building security infrastructure, including centralized authentication, authorization services, and security policy enforcement systems at scale.
  • The candidate must have a proven track record of building complex security systems, including security platforms and SDKs, and establishing security code review practices, checklists, and development frameworks.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead advanced threat modeling for complex systems, anticipating sophisticated adversarial behavior, and owning investigation and resolution of complex security incidents with deep root cause analysis.
  • The candidate must have strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and core security principles and best practices.
  • The candidate will be required to demonstrate experience in cloud configuration and technologies such as SAML, OIDC, PAM/RBAC, Conditional Access, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Group/User Management, with Linux/Windows/SQL cloud support considered an advantage.
