Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for working with the CCM Team and contractors to ensure schedule submittals comply with NCT contract requirements.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the NCT Procurement and Contracts Management Teams in developing contract scheduling requirements.
The candidate will be responsible for reviewing NCT contractor schedule submittals and supporting the development of baseline schedules.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting NCT contract management and claims activities.
The candidate will be responsible for developing project controls and progress reports based on contractor schedules.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting project progression meetings and contributing to the development of the NCT project schedule.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating interfaces across projects, phases, and stakeholders.
The candidate will be responsible for integrating schedule, cost, and risk information to support informed decision-making.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting executive-ready reporting and governance activities.
The candidate must lead continuous improvement efforts and encourage the adoption of best practices.

Job Requirements

The candidate must hold a post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline such as business, economics, applied science, engineering, or project management.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Master’s degree.
The candidate with an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
The candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in a capital project management organization or a related field, with extensive experience leading high-performing teams.
The candidate with a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation will be considered an asset.
The candidate with experience working on major utility capital projects will be considered an asset.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of regulatory, environmental, and outage window constraints.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of right-of-way requirements and constructability logic for large transmission projects.
The candidate must have experience using Linear Project Scheduling Methods (LSM) or Time Location Charts.
The candidate must have experience with schedule risk analysis and risk management processes.
The candidate must have extensive experience in large infrastructure projects and corporate scheduling.
The candidate must have strong knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Risk Analysis or equivalent scheduling tools.
The candidate must demonstrate the proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
The candidate must possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
The candidate must maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license in good standing as a condition of employment.
