Job description
- Sort, collect and deliver mail in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of local roads, delivery points and customers
- Ensure all mail items are secure while in transit
- Process postal services such as address changes and damaged mail
- Wear and display identification while delivering and collecting mail
- Be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lb
Job requirements
- Valid permanent provincial driver’s licence Class 5 or G with a safe driving record
- Ability to operate a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 22.7 kg
- Must meet vehicle requirements including cargo capacity, automatic transmission, power windows and other listed specifications
- Must maintain required vehicle insurance and inform insurer about work usage
- Ability to read, write and speak French
