Job Description
- Candidates at this post are appointed to be adept at sorting, collecting and delivering mail items, in a safe and timely manner.
- Candidates are also appointed to acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure including roads, customers and delivery receptacles.
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to process various CPC products and services.
- They’re also appointed to wear Canada Post identification while on delivery and ensure its visibility while delivering and collecting mail from customers.
- They’re required to lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg and acquires dedicated experience in making deliveries and operating a motor vehicle in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions.
Job requirement
- They must have a satisfactory safe driving record and must possess a valid permanent provincial driver’s license.
- Candidates must attain a minimum cargo capacity of 100 cu ft and a metal roof-top and accessory power outlet to accommodate a Canada Post sign and flashing light to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the fifth door and hatchback to allow for oversized and bulky items to be loaded to be eligible for this post.
- They’re also appointed to provide and maintain the required automobile liability insurance for the use of your vehicle.
- Candidates must notify your insurance company as to the use of your vehicle while employed at Canada Post to be eligible for this post.
