Responsibilities
- Support drug plan sustainability while balancing member health and sponsor cost needs
- Provide consultative support for drug and disability claim management
- Develop and maintain Prior Authorization criteria and protocols
- Work with pharmacists, nurses, and medical consultants on clinical input
- Deliver customized recommendations for large plan sponsors and formularies
- Liaise with pharmaceutical manufacturers
- Conduct research and analysis on drug and disability policies and strategies
- Maintain and update reference materials for drug and disability programs
- Stay current with pharmacy and medical knowledge
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and licensed to practice in Canada
- Minimum 2 years of related pharmacy experience
- Bilingual in French and English considered an asset
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal abilities
