Retail Store Supervisor
WINKS based in Calgary, AB, is looking for candidates for the position of Retail Store Supervisor with 2 vacancies. The ones chosen to be employed will be required to start work as soon as possible. WINKS has an approved Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to hire a foreign worker to fill labor or skills shortages on a temporary basis. The vacancies refer to that of permanent employment and a full time job. The shift will extend from early morning to morning to day to evening to night and the candidate may be required to work in the weekend as well. The candidate may be required to work overtime as well.

Job description
- The candidate will be required to sell merchandise.
- The candidate will be required to prepare reports on sales volumes.
- The candidate will be required to prepare reports on merchandising.
- The candidate will be required to prepare reports on personnel matters.
- The candidate will be required to authorize return of merchandise;
- The candidate will be required to assign sales workers to duties;
- The candidate will be required to resolve problems that arise.
- The candidate will be required to resolve problems like customer complaints.
- The candidate will be required to resolve problems like supply shortages.
- The candidate will be required to supervise activities of workers.
- The candidate will be required to co-ordinate activities of workers.
- The candidate will be required to organize inventory.
- The candidate will be required to maintain inventory.
- The candidate will be required to order merchandise.
- The candidate will be required to establish work schedules.
- The candidate will be required to hire staff.
- The candidate will be required to train staff.
- The candidate will be required to arrange for training of staff.
- The Work Setting is a Retail business.
- The candidate will be required to supervise around three to four people.

Requirements
- The candidate requires a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate to apply for this job.
- The candidate should have an experience of at least 1 year to less than 2 years.
