Job Description
- Regional Sales Associate provides assistance to the sales team through coordination and management of activity through the sales process (i.e.: managing follow-up on leads generated by the outside Regional Sales Manager and working with the inside wholesaler.)
- Responding to and following up on incoming advisor inquiries so that advisors will continue to feel confident in the sales process.
- Utilizing both Salesforce and COGNOS to track opportunity segmentation, activity management and reporting on sales results.
- Providing support for Special Events and Campaigns; including but not limited to, providing operational Sales Team support for those events/campaigns.
- Facilitating Weekly Team Meetings through preparation of structured meeting agendas and encouraging/creating a climate of teamwork and collaboration among all Team Members.
- Maintaining accurate data integrity of the advisor information within the CRM; and in addition to providing administrative support as necessary.
- Participating in Sales Conferences/Meetings to contribute to the overall business plan.
Responsibilities

- Aid in maintaining a seamless sales process so the sales team can spend their time generating leads and building an advisor network.
- Assist with the execution of the business plans that are submitted to the sales team in several regions.

Requirements
- A self-starter with a growth mindset that is inclined toward problem-solving with a hunger to work with others and an interest in wealth management and the financial markets.
- Should have post-secondary education, preferably in Commerce or a related area. You have either already completed or are completing the CSC/IFIC certification and are keen on finishing.
- It is necessary to have experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or any other profession that involves direct interaction with customers and requires excellent communication skills.
- Can work with co-workers closely and in a manner that they become just as strong partners as you are.
- Organizational skills must be top-notch and your effective prioritization of tasks a hallmark of your working style leading to your consistently meeting deadlines.
- A strong aspiration to achieve your targets and a deep understanding of how the sales process bolsters the sales success will be expected from you.
