Job Description
- The candidate must unpack products received from the store and count, weigh, or sort items.
- The candidate will be responsible for stocking shelves and displaying areas.
- The candidate must maintain a clean and orderly stock.
- The candidate must perform general cleaning duties (such as sweeping and mopping floors).
- The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
- The candidate must portion and wrap food.
- The candidate must package products.
- The candidate must answer customers’ questions about menu items and preparation methods.
- The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
- The candidate must dissect and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans in preparation for canning or further processing.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English or French.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
