Job Description

  • The candidate must work closely with Global Trade Compliance, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, and Distribution teams to ensure the product roadmap aligns with regulatory requirements and business goals.
  • The candidate must work with product fulfillment systems teams, project leaders, and operational leaders to understand upcoming capabilities and define the customer experience.
  • The candidate must collaborate with dependent product teams to ensure the end-to-end implementation journey is thorough and well planned.
  • The candidate must support writing detailed requirements, prioritizing backlog items, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver and test quality software.
  • The candidate must maintain and prioritize backlog work items across multiple systems and capabilities to support the Fulfillment Product strategy through sprint planning and long-term backlog management.
  • The candidate must create documentation, manage user stories, and drive acceptance criteria completion across functions based on MVP alignment.
  • The candidate must partner with Technology scrum teams to support delivery of defined business capabilities and value within project scope.
  • The candidate must support the cross-team product sign-off process to ensure the correct product solution is being developed.
  • The candidate must align on the minimum viable product (MVP) by setting priorities, delivery schedules, and managing expectations.
  • The candidate must develop specialized knowledge of industry trends and standards to support continuous improvements in processes, tools, and methodologies.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or a related discipline.
  • A Master’s degree in a related field of study is preferred.
  • Candidates with Product Management certification are preferred.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Product Management or equivalent experience within Trade, Customs, or Global Logistics technology.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of duty, tariff, and customs processes between Canada and the U.S.
  • The candidate must have experience working with Finance systems, including landed cost, intercompany, and duty recovery, along with logistics data such as ASN, commercial invoices, and customs entry.
  • The candidate must possess strong experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access.
  • The candidate must be proficient in SQL, which will be considered a preferred qualification.
  • The candidate must be detail-oriented in all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • The candidate should demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills while handling competing priorities.
  • The candidate must possess strong communication skills when working with internal team members, including the ability to build relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.
  • The candidate must have the ability to work and deliver results in changing environments while operating under limited guidance and meeting specified deadlines and budgets.
  • The candidate must be well organized and structured in managing daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • The candidate will be required to recognize choice in every situation and take ownership of their actions and decisions.
  • The candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve strong results.
