Job Description
- A full-time Procurement Sourcing Lead position is mainly responsible for client collaboration in sourcing strategies meant for the logistics and transportation cost centers.
- Usually involves the standard full-time number of hours a week with a highly cooperative and participative work atmosphere involving both internal teams and external clients.
- This will lead to more productive and long-term client relationships due to the alignment of sourcing and procurement with business goals, cost-management, and service-optimization.
- The tasks undertaken will consist of the sales-support, solution-design, and moving forward procurement role in the complex spend categories.
- You will be working in a global professional services organization that merges digital capabilities and advanced manpower to solve client issues.

Responsibilities
- Build and sustain relationships with senior stakeholders and support account plans.
- Draw up strategic category plans to spot cost and productivity opportunities.
- Oversee supplier’s interaction in terms of performance, risk, collaboration, and innovation.
- Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing projects from the conception of the strategy to the signing of the contracts.
- Disseminate market intelligence along with financial analysis and supplier research.
- Share cross-client insights and help Procurement Category with their initiatives.
- Advance corporate objectives and facilitate the acceptance of change and growth in the organization.
- Management of the entire contract life cycle from the establishment of the contract to its termination.
- Create systems for tracking expenses and how a work is done.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of work done in the field of consulting, sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain-management.
- The person should possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- A minimum of 6 years spent in the transportation of goods by truckload, LTL, air, ocean, and parcel modes as well as working with 3PL/warehousing companies.
- The individual should be able to work in the matrix times and change the project from one phase to another.
- Must have the knowledge of strategic sourcing, negotiation, and different corporate cultures.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Open to traveling: 50% (initially up to 75%).
