Magalas Produce LTD based in Waterford, ON is looking for candidates for the position of Poultry Farm Worker with 2 vacancies.  The shift will extend from Day to Evening to Night to Early morning and the candidate may have to work in the Weekend. Job Description

  • The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery.
  • The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm equipment.

  • The candidate should be able to clean the farm properly.
  • The candidate should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens.
  • The candidate should be able detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry.
  • The candidate should be able to cure disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry.
  • The candidate should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops.
  • The candidate should be able to write daily basic progress reports.
  • The candidate should be able to do monitoring animal health.
  • The candidate should be able to handle manure handling and storage.
  • The candidate should be able to handle bulk grain or feed handling.
  • The candidate should be able to handle automated environmental control equipment.
  • The candidate should be able to handle feeding and watering system.

  • Work Site Environment is Outdoors; Wet/damp; Noisy; Odor’s; Dusty; Hot.
  • The working environment will be in an Rural area.
