Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to research, develop, and draft new or revise current policies, procedures, forms and related documents ensuring they are comprehensive and appropriate for the intended audience.
  • They’re also appointed at this post to Identify and recommend solutions for policy and systems enhancements, with a focus on efficiency, integration, modernization, and compliance with various government regulations or directives.
  • Candidates at this post are also appointed to maintain a comprehensive policy database of document status, cross-reference information, and review cycle working at this post.
  • Applicants are also required to remain current with emerging trends in policy, legislation, and directives to ensure compliance working at this post.
  • Candidates are also required at this post to research, analyze, and interpret the impact of legislative changes and ministerial directives making recommendations on appropriate courses of action.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates working in this post must have completed a 4-year degree in Business, Communications, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates for this post must have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading and conducting strategic policy development and planning in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Candidates for this post must have expert knowledge of provincial policy and legislative framework to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates working in this post must have exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
