Job Description
- The candidate must install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
- The candidate must repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
- The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- The candidate must instruct apprentices.
- The candidate must locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
- The candidate must cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
- The candidate must join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
- The candidate must test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- The candidate must determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
- The candidate must measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must hold a Plumber Trade Certification, a Plumber Red Seal Certificate, have completed Confined Space Entry Training, and possess a valid Driver’s License (Class 3 or D).
- The candidate should be client-focused.
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
- The candidate should be a good team player.

- The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
