Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to raise public awareness of the roles and responsibilities of the Central Bank.
- They’re also required to interpret history and the themes of the Museum through dialogue with visitors.
- Candidates are required to facilitate guided tours, and family activities at special events and school programs in person and virtually.
- They’re also appointed to assist in the Museum boutique and work on various visitor services projects as required.
Job requirement
- They must attain 2 years of relevant work experience with the public, preferably in a museum or education to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain strong communication and presentation skills, both virtually and in person in front of audiences.
- They must attain proven interpersonal skills with the ability to be a great teammate.
- Candidates must attain the ability to creatively and enthusiastically engage with visitors, while confidently presenting information to groups of varying sizes and backgrounds.
- They must attain knowledge of the Bank of Canada and dedicated experience in Museology or Education.
- They must acquire dedicated experience in using virtual presentation platforms to be eligible for this post.
