In this role, you will leverage your expertise, verbal skills and your client-focused service approach to assist your clients through the mortgage process while offering a positive experience. This position provides mobility and flexibility in that our advisors will be able to connect with their clients in person at their preferred location and to cultivate existing referral relationships.
This is a commission-based position for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record and consistent experience, and solid, sustained production level in the mortgage industry or related financial profession. The advisor will have underwriting support, access to market leading mortgage products, continuing education and professional development and access to a great referral network.

Job Description
- The Mortgage Specialist (or Home Financing Advisor) position entails establishing excellent client relationships, developing the mortgage business, and giving top-notch home financing advice.
- Offer authentic, reliable recommendations and provide a seamless application experience.
- Be available to meet wherever the client prefers and give them a choice.
- Communicate closely with the underwriting and internal teams to ensure approvals and closures are all timely.
- Be knowledgeable about the effects of the economy on the market, knowledgeable about mortgage products and the regulations, and prepared to make recommendations.
- Drive mortgage sales commissions and entrepreneurial vigor.
Responsibilities
- Provide clarity and comfort through clear communications and guidance during the mortgage journey.
- Deliver a client-driven mortgage experience in a simple, stress free manner that keeps the client engaged during the application.
- Work cohesively with underwriting and other internal departments to secure timely decisions and close dates.
- Demonstrate professionalism and flexibility by travel in the field to meet with clients as their schedules and territory allow for.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
- Keep connection with clients for a long time.
- A proven ability to persuade clients positively and establish rapport with clients and partners.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and desire to succeed in a commission sales environment.
