Job Description
- This is a full time field based role within Tesla’s Vehicle Service team.
- The position includes regional travel, customer interaction and hands on vehicle service support.
- Employees work with Tesla’s electric vehicles and modern EV technology every day.
- The role supports mobile service activities and works closely with Tesla Service Centers.
- Team members work on service vehicles and travel daily across the regions.
Responsibilities
- Perform apprentice level inspection, repair and service work on Tesla electric vehicles.
- Work with hand and power tools safely.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications.
- Maintain records related to time, materials, vehicle cleanliness and expenses.
- Organize workloads and manage multiple service priorities.
- Support other Mobile Service Technicians and Tesla Service Centers when needed.
- Travel daily across the assigned service region.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods is required.
- Trade school training or ASE certifications are preferred.
- A strong background in mounting, balancing and repairing tires is required.
- Excellent verbal and written interaction skills are required.
- Can follow instructions carefully and complete service tasks accurately.
- Can build positive working relationships with the public and internal teams.
- Can quickly adapt to new systems, processes and changing work environments.
- Must be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating large service vehicles including tow trucks and trailers.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to become DOT certified.
