Job description

  • The candidate should also be able to cut beef, lamb, pork,
  • The candidate should also be able to veal carcasses.
  • The candidate should also be able to sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging.
  • The candidate should also be able to cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional use.
  • The candidate should also be able to cut meat and poultry for commercial or other wholesale use.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience the candidate should have are Saws; Power cutting tools; Knives; Cleavers.
  • The Work Setting is Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.

  • The candidate does not require any degree, certificate or diploma for this job.
  • The candidate does not require any prior experience.
  • The candidate should be also able to handle weight.
  • The candidate should also be dependable.
  • The candidate should also have clarity of judgement.
  • The candidate should also be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • The work will also involve a combination of sitting, standing and walking which the candidate should be comfortable with.
  • The candidate should also be able to manage tight deadlines.
  • The candidate should also be able to work under pressure.
  • The work will also involve a combination of bending, crouching and kneeling which the candidate should be comfortable with.
  • The candidate should also be able to handle repetitive tasks.
  • The candidate will also be required to stand for extended periods and hence should be comfortable with it.
