Job Description

  • The candidate will act as a project manager and technical expert by leading the development and implementation of MRS system platform solutions and ensuring seamless implementation.
  • The candidate will develop resource plans, set business priorities, and ensure deadlines and deliverables are achieved while providing technical troubleshooting support.
  • The candidate will provide input and recommendations to MRS system roadmaps and work programs.
  • The candidate will manage and mentor a team of technical professionals in their daily work.
  • The candidate will review System Administrators’ and Developers’ translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
  • The candidate will provide ongoing technical leadership and support during design, development, testing, and service introduction phases, including technical specification reviews and approvals.
  • The candidate will consult and confirm business requirements with Business Analysts, Process/Practice Owners, and business counterparts.
  • The candidate will build relationships with the CIP Program Office and other stakeholders by understanding business priorities and core requirements.
  • The candidate will ensure the creation and maintenance of operational documentation and standard operating procedures to reduce support risk and inefficiency.
  • The candidate will oversee or develop the configuration of custom workflows, data libraries, and reports in the MRS systems.
  • The candidate will perform regular reviews of system platform configuration and enhancements to identify opportunities to improve customer experience across compliance areas.
  • The candidate will monitor system health, availability, security, and performance.
  • The candidate will monitor incident, problem, and request tickets to ensure support requirements are handled in a timely and effective manner to meet SLA requirements.
  • The candidate will collaborate with vendor support and service providers on product upgrades, patch installations, and hot fixes.
  • The candidate will manage relationships with IT service vendors and provide direction on enhancements and development work.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT operational support and system implementation, along with a strong understanding of infrastructure, network support, and system integrations.
  • The candidate should demonstrate strong SQL skills at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing technical professionals, which is considered highly desirable.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills within MRS systems and data architecture environments.
  • The candidate must have proven knowledge of T-SQL, PowerShell scripting, HTML/CSS, and the .NET framework.
  • The candidate should have an understanding of ETL tools such as Informatica and scheduling tools.
  • The candidate must be able to make informed decisions and recommendations based on a broad and long-term perspective while considering stakeholder needs.
  • The candidate must be able to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently.
  • The candidate must collaborate with others to develop and implement solutions that meet stakeholder needs across compliance areas.
  • The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities to explain complex technical concepts.
  • The candidate should have ITIL Foundation certification, which is considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting MRS systems will be considered an asset.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain security clearance for a Security Sensitive Position.
  • The candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership in managing, motivating, and developing teams.
  • The candidate must have exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • CISSP certification will be considered an asset.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a strong customer focus.
