Job Description

  • As a member of the Investment & Retirement Planning team, your primary responsibility will be to support the Financial Planners in providing excellent service to their clients and in improving the overall planning experience.
  • Involves taking client calls and performing daily tasks to allow the advisors to fully concentrate on forming bonds and increasing the existing relationship.
  • Connecting clients with suitable Royal Bank of Canada partners who will financially assist them in achieving their goals.
  • This is a full-time position with a salary (37.5 hours/week) located in Winkler, within the Personal & Commercial Banking department.
  • You will also be involved in the daily practices and team projects aimed at increasing efficiency, client satisfaction, and the team’s success as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planners will be supported by performing the preparation of client meetings and providing help with simple investment solutions and referrals.
  • Client experience will be strengthened in-branch, via phone, and through emails.
  • Client requests will be processed, concerns will be resolved, and documentation will be done accurately with follow-ups.
  • Client tasks will be finished in an efficient manner by established routines; process improvement areas will be pointed out.
  • Client needs will be identified, quality referrals will be made, new investment clients/assets will be acquired, and progress will be tracked toward the team goals.
  • All policies and procedures must be followed, and operational risk areas corrected.
  • Administrative and proactive client-contact support will be provided to Financial Planners

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English AND Russian OR German.
  • Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  • Prior investment experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and rapidly changing environment with good multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • IT literacy including Microsoft Office and digital tools.
  • Excellent communication and partner interaction skills.
  • A proven ability to develop strong client relationships.
  • Experience in active sales in the retail market
