Job description
- The candidate will be required to tend to emotional well-being of children.
- The candidate will be required to take children to and from school and to appointments.
- The candidate will be required to supervise the children.
- The candidate will be required to care for the children.
- The candidate will be required to prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
- The candidate will be required to organize, activities such as games and outings for the children.
- The candidate will be required to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- The candidate will be required to instruct the children in personal hygiene.
- The candidate will be required to help the children social development.
- The candidate will be required to keep records of daily activities of children.
- The candidate will be required to keep record of health information regarding children.
- The candidate will be required to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- The candidate will be required to bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
- The candidate will be required to prepare infants and children for rest periods.
- The candidate will be required to help children with homework.
- The candidate will be required to travel with family on trips.
- The candidate will be required to assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- The candidate will be required to perform light housekeeping.
- The candidate will be required to perform cleaning duties.
- The candidate will be required to wash clothing and household linens.
- The candidate will be required to iron clothing and household linens.
- The candidate will be required to press clothing and household linens.
- The candidate will be required to shop for food and household supplies.
- The candidate will be required to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
- The candidate will be required to tend to children of school age (6 – 12 years).
- The candidate will be required to work in the employer’s or the client’s home.
- Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
- The candidate will be required to supervise and care for twins.
Requirements
- The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
- The candidate will require a First Aid Certificate.
- The candidate will require a CPR Certificate.
- The candidate should have an experience of at least 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Reference will be required for the candidate from a trusted source.
- Public transportation is available for the candidate’s use.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate should be able to handle weight.
- The candidate should be dependable.
- The candidate should be comfortable with handling repetitive tasks.
