Job Description
- The candidate will be required to fertilise and spray crops.
- The candidate will be in charge of harvesting crops.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
Work Site Environment
- Farm operations include corn farming, dry pea and bean farming, hay farming, oilseed (except soybean) farming, other grain farming, other miscellaneous crop farming, soybean farming, and wheat farming.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty and hot conditions.
Experience and Specialization
Type of Crops
- The crop is seed corn.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
- The candidate must have prior experience with a combine harvester, a farm truck, a fertiliser applicator, haying equipment, a loader, a seed drill, a sprayer or duster, a swather, and a tractor.
Automated Systems Experience
- The candidate must have prior experience with a storage and silage system.
