Food Services Manager

Whitehorse Restaurant Limited Partnership based in Whitehorse, YT, is looking for candidates for the position of Food Service Manager with 2 vacancy. The ones chosen to be employed will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to that of permanent employment and a full time job. The shift will extend from  early morning to morning to day to evening to night and the candidate may be required to work in the weekend as well. The candidate may also opt for flexible hours and may be required to come on call as well. Overtime may be required from the candidate.

Job description

  • The candidate will be required to address customers’ complaints or concerns.
  • The candidate will be required to participate in marketing plans.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have a College degree.
  • The candidate may also have a CEGEP.
  • The candidate may also have a non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least 3 years to less than 5 years.
  • The candidate should have a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • The candidate should have a Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • The candidate should have a First Aid Certificate.
  • The candidate should have an experience in Business Equipment and Computer Applications.
  • The candidate should have an experience in handling Spreadsheet.
  • The candidate should have an experience in  MS Excel.
