We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take on their responsibilities at the earliest. The open positions are for Permanent employment or a part-time job. The timings of shifts may be Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, 15:00 to 21:00.

Job Description

  • The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
  • The candidate will be responsible for addressing customer complaints or concerns.
  • The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers in a clear, concise, and informative manner.
  • The candidate will be responsible for enforcing provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for advising on menu selection and recommendations.
  • The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • The candidate must describe and advise on wine selection.
  • The candidate must greet customers, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
  • The candidate must be able to serve food and beverages.
  • The candidate will be responsible for taking orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
  • The candidate must have a Serving It Right Certificate.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • The candidate should be client-focused.
  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
  • The candidate must work in a pub.
