Job Description
- This is a position that emphasizes the role of coaching and financial planning, giving assistance to advisors within Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Securities.
- Entrance into client-centered planning and participation in the provision of combined wealth management solutions are involved.
- Immerse yourself in a collaborative and inclusive setting that not only stimulates but also allows for the development of innovative ideas and the gaining of new skills professionally.
- Be in regular contact with a diverse group of professionals, such as planning and tax experts, estate and business consultants from Family Office Services.
- It is a full-time (37.5 hours/week), salaried appointment at the Vancouver Main Branch under Wealth Management.
- This includes the collaboration with advisor teams to upgrade the planning delivery process, thus also making the client experience better.
Responsibilities
- Provide training within the branch and provide personalized coaching to advisors and their teams on utilizing the myGPS financial planning software.
- Engage in the planning of financial matters with the clientele
- Cooperate with the leaders of the branch to facilitate the financial activities of planning.
- Create and maintain a network of good relationships within the organization.
- Work together with the software and training teams, and inform the branch managers of your impressions after the onsite visits.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and a professional designation (CFP/IQPF).
- More than 5 years’ experience in the areas of financial planning or training and development.
- Experienced in myGPS or equivalent financial planning software.
- Driven individual and good collaborator.
- Background in the brokerage sector.
- CSC certification.
