Job Description

  • The candidate must assess the children’s development to prepare a learning program that meets their individual needs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting coworkers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • The candidate must bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing childcare programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining daycare equipment.
  • The candidate must assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • The candidate must lead activities such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
  • The candidate must encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • The candidate must guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • The candidate must observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • The candidate must attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and challenges faced by the children.
  • The candidate must plan and maintain an environment that protects children’s Health, safety, and well-being.
  • The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
  • The candidate must lead students in activities that promote their physical, mental, and social development, as well as their readiness for school.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
